Melissa joined the Comprehensive Breast Care team in the summer of 2022. Prior to that, she worked at Troy Beaumont for 18 years as a surgical PA assisting in a multitude of surgeries and participating in post-operative care. Melissa leads our High-Risk Program; she evaluates and determines appropriate screening plans for patients with an elevated risk for breast cancer. Risk factors can include a family history of breast cancer, a personal history of atypia or high-risk lesion, or a genetic predisposition.
